A close up of white BESS. They are set on concrete and there is a thick layer of gravel below. They sky above is a grayish white - almost the same color as the BESS units. The Tesla logo is on the first unit you see in the top left.

Firestone, CO

This Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is projected to save United Power as much as $1 million annually by storing energy and releasing it during peak demand times.

The batteries supplied by Tesla will have a storage capacity of 16MW hrs — enough to simultaneously power 600 to 700 homes. These batteries are larger versions of the lithium ion batteries found in Tesla's electric vehicles.

Tesla, United Power, and ENGIE were partners in this project.

A solar site at the base of the mountains. A light snow semi covers the ground and mountains in the background. A small river separates the solar panels and the mountains.

Parachute, CO

PS 1, 3, and 7 were three co-located project sites that ISI Solar engineered, procured, and constructed just outside of Parachute, CO.

This solar site has 3 rows. The one on the left is the longest. The middle is a medium length. The right is the smallest row. This site is in the middle of green fields. In the distant background, you can see a city.

Kearney, NE

The Kearney Solar Farm covers 54 acres with over 22,464 solar modules.

The system will generate 5.8 megawatts of renewable energy, which is about 5 percent of the city’s electrical demand.

The $11 million project is a partnership between the city of Kearney, Nebraska Public Power District, and Chicago-based SoCore Energy.

SoCore sells energy to Nebraska Public Power District, which in turn sells it to customers in the area. The University of Nebraska at Kearney has already contracted for half of the farm’s solar power.

This solar site is surrounded by bright green grass. There dirt parking lot next to the solar panels. It looks like a few portable buildings and several trucks are in the parking lot.

Galesburg, IL

On this Illinois Solar Site, ISI Solar engineered, procured, and constructed this site. Partners on this project were Summit Ridge Energy and the utility Ameren.

Bright green grass surrounds this solar panel site. There are several cars parked in the middle of the solar panels, but they look small compared to the vast landscape.

Fitchburg, WI

Given the name “Tyto” and located in Fitchburg, WI, ISI Solar was responsible for the procurement and construction of this solar site. This Wisconsin project was a partnership with the developer, One Energy, and the local utility, Madison Gas and Electric (MG&E).
